CONTENT
MONS VENERIS portrays three young women who have freed themselves from their religious communities: orthodox Judaism, fundamentalist Islam and devout Hinduism. The film accompanies the women in their difficult fight against the age-old religious and cultural repression of the sexual self-determination of women. It is a film about shame, religious dishonor and female sexuality.
